Help! Are you asking for it?

Ask for Help A Sign of Strength

Brick Wall Wisdom #2

Today we are continuing my life lessons from coming up against a Brick Wall that knocked me flat over the New Year.

Having the strength to ask for help could save you an even bigger slam against that brick wall. I’m one of those people who leaves it to the last resort to ask for help (probably because I am a helper, I like to help). So I find it hard to ask for things and ask for help especially when things are busy, because shouldn’t I just be able to organise my self out of a tight schedule or make that extra hour in the day for exercise and making a beautiful nourishing meal?
But I’m always in awe of my clients who have the guts to pick up the phone to ask for help. Some think that you should be able to be organised just by putting things away but we know better, don’t we.

The strength it takes to make a change in your surroundings and mind set in attachment to “stuff” is pretty significant. The break throughs and realizations that happen while I’m helping my clients are awesome.

So how come when it comes to feeling tired, overwhelmed with things to do, work/life balance is off or we feel sick we soldier on and think we can do it on our own?

Action: So this week think about asking for help as a strength and opportunity to be the absolute best you that you can be. What will you do to ask for help?

Perhaps get a cleaner once a fortnight, a lifestyle coach, even help from friends or neighbours to trade some baby sitting hours, what ever  you need there will be someone perfect to help you. Of course if you need help with balancing your time and spaces I would be honoured to help. Carolyn@outsidetheboxsolutions.com.au or  call me on 0416 127 004
